Richards on Richards is a good small venue. There are two levels to watch the stage from, it's small, the acoustics aren't too bad, and they like doing early shows.

Greg and I arrived to the sold out show about 30 seconds before Apocalyptica took stage, despite me attempting to lead us to gastown.

It should come as no surprise that Apocolyptica puts on a fast, high energy, and very tight show. Part of what made the evening enjoyable is the band enjoying themselves so much ; there were many grins passed back and forth across the stage during the songs.

Second best show of 2005, so far. Better than the Sounds of the Underground, but not quite as good as MSI.

The show started shortly after 2000h, and finished around 2200h. Something that I appreciated getting up at 0650h the next morning.
